TemperKote No. 500 High Solids/Low V.O.C. Series Heat Resistant Primer is a primer based on a phenolic alkyd resin designed to offer fast dry/recoat times and impart corrosion resistance in severe environments. The primer withstands thermal cyclic conditions to 500ºF. It is specially formulated to form a tenacious protective bond to steel providing excellent corrosion protection under TemperKote No. 500 topcoats. Under normal conditions TemperKote No. 500 Industrial Heat Resistant Primer air dries within 30 minutes and can be topcoated in as little as 45 minutes.
