Temperkote® Primers

TemperKote® 600 Primer

Features

The high-build primer withstands severe thermal cyclic conditions to 600║F (315║C). It is specially designed to form a tenacious protective bond to a variety of metals, providing superior corrosion protection under TemperKote« 600 & 1000 color stable topcoats.

TemperKote« 1000 Primer

With it's high build abilities, TemperKote 1000 Primer can go on marginally prepared surfaces.

TemperKote® CUI-HS

Features

The coating withstands severe thermal cyclic conditions to 1200ºF 649ºC), boiling water immersion and wet-dry-wet thermal cycling. It is specially formulated to form a tenacious protective bond to a variety of metals, providing maximum corrosion protection under various types of thermal insulation. TemperKote CUI-HS has the additional benefit of being formulated for application to Hot Surfaces.

Standard Safety Colors

Flame Control Heat Resistance Chart

500 & 555, Air Dry series films will withstand service temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). Above indicated maximum temperatures for color stability, a significant color change will occur. This color change is not reversible.

850 & 888, Air Dry series films will withstand service temps up 850° F, (455°C).

900SA & 999SA, Heat Cured series films will withstand service temps of 900°F, (482°C).

For (*) colors of the 850, 888, 900 and 999 series, during the initial heating cycle, there will be significant darkening above the indicated maximum temperature for color stability. As the temperature increases above 650°F (343°C), the color will lighten to more closely resemble the original color, and will not appreciably change on cooling and reheating.

If the surface temperature never exceeds 650°F (343°C), the color will remain considerably off color.
